Recommended Plan by Use Case

For personal use or testing: Choose Free. Its 120 monthly minutes, 3-minute conversation limit, 50 file uploads, and 10 AI summaries are enough for short meetings or interviews. No credit card is required to start.

For professionals with long meetings: Choose Pro. It includes 1,800 minutes per month, up to 5 hours per conversation, 100 file uploads, 100 AI summaries, transcript export, translation, and 200 custom vocabulary entries. The annual price is $97.99; monthly billing is available under the Monthly tab on the pricing page.

For team collaboration and administration: Choose Business. It provides unlimited transcription, costs $16.67 per seat per month when billed at $199.99 annually, and includes 200 file uploads, 200 AI summaries, video recording, roles and permissions, usage reports, and CRM and Zapier integrations.

The official documentation does not publish a minimum seat count.

Billing, Renewal, and Cancellation Conditions

Annual billing is prepaid: Choosing Annual in the Monthly/Annual switch at the top of the pricing page applies a 40% discount and charges Pro $97.99 and Business $199.99 in one payment. Monthly billing is charged every month at the amount shown under the Monthly tab.

The official documentation does not publish a refund policy for the unused term after cancellation, so confirm it with support before purchase.

Unused transcription time does not roll over: Monthly allowances expire rather than carrying into the next month. Unused portions of Free's 120 minutes or Pro's 1,800 minutes are lost.

Add-ons cost extra: Single-language translation costs $6 per month ($72 annually), bilingual transcription and translation costs $9 per month ($108 annually), and Notta Brain costs $93.59 annually for 8,000 credits per month. These are not included in the base plans. Only Pro and Business users can buy them, while Enterprise provides unlimited access.

Change a Plan and Confirm Activation

1. Open Billing in Notta's settings and note the current plan and billing cycle.
2. To move from Free to a paid plan, choose Pro or Business and a billing cycle (Monthly or Annual) on the pricing page and pay.
3. To move from Pro to Business, the official FAQ says to cancel the current plan first (Billing > Cancel Subscription) and then subscribe to the new plan. Access continues until the end of the paid period.
4. After payment, confirm that the Billing screen shows the new plan name and the next billing date.
5. Return to the workspace home and confirm that the remaining transcription minutes in the top banner changed to the new plan's limit (1,800 minutes or Unlimited).

Diagnose a Limit That Did Not Update After Payment

Symptom: A payment-success email arrived, but the workspace banner still shows “Free - 120 minutes/month.” Check: Sign in again in a private window, or open Billing in Settings and confirm that Current Plan changed to Pro or Business.

Completion Checklist and Alternatives

• Current Plan under Billing in Settings shows Pro or Business.
• The workspace banner shows a monthly limit of 1,800 minutes for Pro or Unlimited for Business.
• A test upload proceeds without the 3-minute Free warning or the 5-hour Pro or Business warning.
• The Export button is active at the upper right of a transcript; it is disabled on Free.
• The AI Summary counter correctly shows 10 monthly uses on Free, 100 on Pro, or 200 on Business.

Alternatives and Upgrade Paths

When monthly billing is required: Choose monthly billing under the Monthly tab on the pricing page. It costs more than annual billing, so annual is the better value if you plan to use Notta for three months or longer.

For organizations below 51 seats that require SSO: Business does not include SAML SSO. Upgrade to Enterprise, which starts at 51 seats, and contact sales. Submit a quote request through the “Contact Sales” button at the bottom of the pricing page.

For large files and long offline recordings: Buy the $149 Notta Memo recorder separately and synchronize recordings to the cloud afterward. This is an additional cost outside the subscription.
